Now is the time in your process when finding a location - and getting that location approved for cannabis by local authorities - starts to become especially important. When it comes to highly complex zoning and land use issues, we're here to help. We can help you identify potential locations for your business, and then help you obtain proper land use approvals in the fastest time frame. Applications can include special land uses, variances, rezonings, and site plan reviews. We can present with you at land use and licensing hearings, and help you prepare for them. Importantly, we identify - and help you as an applicant work with - important community partners. In some cases, this is required by the municipality. In all cases, it's good practice, and also helps to connect you with potential customers, while getting a better understanding of the community’s needs and concerns.
We maintain a database of several current cannabis and zoning ordinances, and track progress and changes. We are also available to help with cannabis licensing, including renewals and renewal tracking, and can attend your State and local pre-licensure inspections. Please know: If we currently, or very recently, have been in a consulting role in a municipality in which you're seeking land use approval, our role will likely be more limited in order to avoid potential liability and ethical concerns.
